DeltaX Interview Experience for Associate Product Engineer (On-Campus) 2023

Recently, DeltaX came for Hiring candidates for Associate Product Engineer (Full-stack Developer)

The drive is of 1-day event.

Eligibility criteria: 50% or 5.0 in B.Tech average.

Drive Consists of 3 Rounds

Round 1 [Online MCQ Test] :

The duration of the test is about 45 minutes. It started from 10 am till 10:45 am and It had a webcam as well as the microphone on while this round happened. This test covers all the topics related to Programming, Data Structures, Networking, and Micro-processors. If you have good knowledge then you can answer the question otherwise you won’t be able to clear this round. The cut-off for this round is too high out of 212 candidates they selected only 7 students for the next round.

Round 2 [Online Coding Test] :

By 11:45 am the candidates who cleared Round 1 were informed of the next round via email. In this round, there were 5 coding questions. Every question had its marks and set time, within which you had to solve and submit it and move to the next question. You cannot move to the next question before submitting the current one. WebCam was opened during this round, questions were story-based, but once understood it was straightforward. I got questions from Recursion, Dynamic Programming, Binary Search, and String. It lasted for 2 hours 30 min (12:30 pm – 3 pm)
In this round I was able to solve all 5 questions, clearing all test cases. I was the only one who was selected in this round.

Round 3 [Online Interview] :

By 4 p.m. I got the mail that I was selected for the next round and my interview was scheduled for 6 p.m.
In this round, they asked me to :

• Tell me about Yourself.
  Next, the questionsinterviewer asked me to open Notepad and share the screen, and they gave me the same question from Round 2. And told me to think out loud and explain the approach to solving this question. It was the same DP question, lastly, they asked me to write the pseudocode for this question in my notepad.
  Then interviewer gave new questions related to Array and BS, to which I provided various solutions but lastly, I was able to solve the question in the desired TC and SC.
  Then interviewer went to OOPs and asked:
• What are OOPs?
  Real-world examples, Tell about Polymorphism, Inheritance and lastly ask to me design a song player application using classes, this round lasted for 1 hour .

The next day, I got an email from my Tnp cell that I was selected.
