DeltaX Interview Experience for Associate Product Engineer (On-Campus)

Recently, DeltaX came for Hiring candidates for Associate Product Engineer

• The drive is of 1-day event.
• Eligibility criteria:50% or 5.0 in B.Tech average, till date.

Drive Consists of 3 Rounds

Round 1: Online MCQ Test

The duration of the test is about 45 minutes and no webcam is there while this round happened. This test covers all the topics related to Programming, Data Structures, Networking, and Micro-processors. If you have good knowledge then you can answer the question otherwise you won’t be able to clear this round. The cut-off for this round is too high out of 138 candidates they selected only 27 students for the next round.

Round 2: Online Coding Test

The candidates who cleared Round 1 were informed of the next round via email. In this round, there were 5 questions. Total Duration is 3 hrs. All the question requires DSA skill to solve the problem. WebCam was opened during this round and all these questions require Diversified thinking you need to apply more than one Data Structure Concept to solve the question. The question is made by their team so you can’t find a solution on the Internet.

In this round, I attempted all the questions but for 1 question I was not able to clear the hidden test cases. 12 Students were selected from this round and I was one of them.

Round 3: Online Interview

The entire Requirement process is about to end in one day only but due to lack of time my interview is scheduled for the next day. The next day evening I got mail for the interview process and My interview Started.

In this round, they asked me:

• Tell me about Yourself.
• Where do you find yourself after 5 years?
• Why do you want to join this company?
• Tell me about your previous two rounds of experience

Next for Technical Questions, they asked some questions related to Java:

• What is OOPs
• Why you have chosen Java Language for solving Round 2 questions?
• Tell about Polymorphism, Inheritance

Next, They asked me to open Notepad and share the screen, and they give me the same question which I was not able to solve in Round 2. Also, they told you can speak Hindi with no language Barrier after that, they asked me what will the approach to solve this question, and lastly, they asked me to write the pseudocode for this question in my notepad. While doing this they helped me out if I stuck at any point also they asked me to cover all the corner cases. And with their guidance, I am able to solve this question

Lastly, they asked me “Do you have any questions for me?” So, I asked about the further process of onboarding. They replied I will be sending marks of this round to the company. The company has its own cut-off and it will take an average of all the 3 Rounds if your average mark is greater than the company threshold then you will be selected.

From the remaining 12 students who appeared in this round, only 2 students were selected and I was one of them.
