Dell Technologies visited our campus, and out of 25 students, only two were selected by it.

It consists of four rounds.

  1. MCQ: 50 questions in 1 hour
  2. Technical interview: 30-45 min.
  3. Managerial interview: 30–45 min.
  4. HR

MCQ: It consists of questions from various domains like OOPS, Java, Aptitude, SQL, and Digital electronics.

The question levels ranged from easy to medium. If you go over the most frequently asked mcq questions on each topic, you will easily pass this round.

Technical round:

In this case, we were facing a developer with 10 years of experience, but I was surprised that the first three questions were about aptitude, like length of training, age of a person, and loss and profit questions. After that, he asked questions about my projects; he was interested in the new technology projects like data science, ML, and AI. Then the questions start.

  1. Explain the OOPS concept with examples.
  2. 3rd highest salary SQL query
  3. Leetcode medium-level question: trapping rainwater
  4. Data structure questions about array, tress, and linked list

Each of these questions was needed to be written with screen sharing on.

Managerial round:

It was also a technical round: first introduce yourself, then three aptitude questions. Then some discussion on the project’s latest technology

  1. Explain the OOPS concept with an example.
  2. ACID property
  3. inner join, natural join,
  4. Supervised and Unsupervised learning

then write programmes on the left and right views of the tree. All of these needed to be on screen share.

At last, we have the HR round, which was

  1. Just tell me about yourself.
  2. Why do you want to join this company?
  3. What are your expectations?
  4. Company CEO name

All these rounds were completed in one day.

Just make your basics strong and have a decent project with the latest technologies, not something like library management or a weather app. Just practise the top 50 medium-level questions in Java or Python.

At the end, believe in yourself.
