This year, Cognizant visited our campus for the employment process. It was a two-day procedure, with the first day being an online test and then round 2 which was a communication round, and then SME Interview. Around 200 students applied for the Genc role in Cognizant.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • They had imposed a 60% requirement for all grades (including 10th, 12th, and degree).
  • Academics were relaxed for a maximum of one year, with no active backlog in any subject throughout all semesters.

Round 1: ONLINE TEST

The platform for the test was Cocubes, which is used by numerous firms for their recruitment process.

The following sections were requested in the paper:

  • Quantitative – 14 questions in 16 minutes.
  • Verbal – 25 questions in 22 minutes.
  • Logical – 16 questions in 14 minutes.

Round 2: GAME BASED APTITUDE TEST

It was the same game-based aptitude test as Capgemini. There were four sorts of games asked about in Cognizant for Genc Role. This round is interesting as well as easy to increase your overall score. This round checks your logical ability to approach a solution.

The four types of games asked are given below:

  • The Inductive Test
  • Grid challenge
  • Motion challenge
  • Deductive challenge

I completed all of the rounds before receiving an email from the cognizant for a communication round via Superset.

Round 3: Communication Round

It was a non-elimination round but it was mandatory to attempt to be eligible for the next round. There were sections in the communication round such as

  • Storytelling
  • Listening
  • Articles
  • Reading
  • Question Answers

Following the communication round, I received an email inviting me to an interview.

Round 4: Interview Round

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Tell me about your project
  • What were the challenges you faced during your project and how did you overcome them
  • Tell me about your internship experience
  • 3 Aptitude questions on (2 on probability and 1 on Ratio and proportions)
  • Polymorphism with example
  • Inheritance with example
  • Logic for Fibonacci series and panildorme
  • Relocation
  • Night Shift
  • Will you be able to work on different tech stacks
  • Any questions for me

And That’s it

Verdict: Selected
