Cognizant Interview Experience

Round 1:

It was an online test conducted by AMCAT, it had four sections  in the first round verbal, reasoning, Quants and the automata round which is nothing but we have complete few snippets or write a code for few easy questions like gcd of two numbers, factorial etc. The entire process of the test was under the surveillance of a webcam if anyone else other than you is captured in the camera then you will be automatically disqualified.

The online test was pretty easy and you need to solve at least 2 to 3 questions in the automata round in order to qualify for the next round.

I was qualified for the next round luckily.

Round 2:

The second round was the technical round. The interviewer was  really clam and cool . At first i was asked to tell about myself and to also talk about about my strengths and weaknesses.I was from EC background and he asked about all my projects, i have some 5 projects in my resume .He asked me about the various workshops i had attended and also about my internship later he asked me about the trending technologies and also to give examples for them and how they are used in real life.

He also asked me the difference between c and 8086 assembly language and then in the last he asked me to write a program in C for fibonacci series.

My interview was done they asked me to wait outside and later told me that i was selected for the next round.

Round 3:

The 3rd round was the HR round which was really easy, she asked me to introduce about myself which is obviously the most basic question, about my family background, My schooling, hobbies and if I am ready to work in any location.

The results were announced after 2 days and I was selected and i also got my offer letter recently.

All I would like to tell is never panic at all if u don’t know  something just tell them that u don’t know the answer and your resume is your questionnaire be thorough with everything that you have put in your resume .Be confident and they will only be checking your confidence and your communication skills. Hope this was helpful!

All the best !!!
