Campus placement is a very hectic task you need to manage your college curriculum and your placement drive. And the most crucial part is coping with rejections and preparing for the next company. Once companies start coming to campus you have to be ready with the coding skills, computer subjects, projects, etc.

After facing multiple rejections from many companies Bank of America came to our campus and hoping for the best we sat for the drive.

Process of Interview

Round  1: Video Interview
In this round, you are provided a link in your mail which you need need to open and solve two coding questions one was easy and the other was medium to high difficulty level then you need to answer one question and it will be recorded and submitted once you end the test or the timer gets over. The question asked to me was to explain the optimal approach used in the second coding question.

Round 2: Technical Interview
The next day after giving the video interview test, candidates will be shortlisted and you’ll get a mail regarding interview timing. My interview started with the interviewer congratulating me for qualifying for the second round then he asked me to code a few questions, the questions were easy and the interviewer was very friendly. He also asked me a few questions about object-oriented programming. Then the interview ended and the interviewer asked me to wait for the results of this round.

Round 3:Technical Interview / HR Interview

On the same day, another mail came stating that you have qualified for the next round and the timing given for the interview. This interview was technical for me and for many, it was HR Round. The interview asked me to code a few questions that were of easy to medium level, then asked me to write some SQL Queries and also asked me a few puzzles. I took time in answering the puzzles which was fine as the interviewer was discussing the thought process along with me which boosts your confidence.

As we were heading towards the end of the interview, the interviewer asked me if I have any questions for him. So I was prepared for this question beforehand.

VERDICT: FINALLY GOT SELECTED

A few tips before going for an interview:

1. Dress appropriately
2. Keep calm because either you get selected or get experience to perform well in the next interview.
3. Keep your questions ready, because in most companies it is asked if you have any questions for them, and your reply to this makes a difference.
