AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology Admission Experience

AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology is an Autonomous private institute which is located in Rangareddy, Telangana. The institute was established in 2002 and got autonomous in 2023 it is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The college offers B.Tech program at the UG level and M.Tech at the PG level in various specializations.
• The minimum eligibility to pursue a B.Tech program from AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology is a 10+2 examination with PCM from a recognized board.
• Admission will be done based on the score obtained in the State level entrance exam TS EAMCET.
• Candidates who wish to pursue an M.Tech program must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and technology from a recognized university.
• Selection to the M.Tech program will be based on the candidate’s performance in the State level entrance exam TS PGECET.

Entrance Examination and Counseling:

TS EAMCET Entrance into B.tech:

• TS EAMCET will be held in pen-paper mode and the duration of the entrance exam is 3 hours.
• There are a total number of 160 questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the entrance examination.
• There will be no negative marking in the entrance examination.
• The college offers 70% of seats to A-Category students through entrance examination.
• The remaining 30% of seats (B-Category) are filled by management quota as per guidelines by the competent authority.

TS PGECET Entrance into M.tech:

• There will be 120 multiple-choice questions in the entrance examination.
• One mark will be awarded for every correct answer whereas there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the examination.

Application Process for AVNIET:

Candidates who wish to pursue UG and PG programs from the AVN Institute of Engineering and Technology have to appear for the state-level entrance exams namely TS EAMCET and TS PGECET for PG courses. Interested candidates can fill out the application form online.

Documents required to be attached to the application form:

• Certificate of SSC or equivalent.
• Date of birth proof.
• Caste Certificate (if any)
• PH, NCC, Sports Category, etc. Certificate (if any)
• Income certificate (if claiming relaxation in fees)
• Certificate for Proof of local status
• TS EAMCET / TS PGECET rank card.

Counseling and Seat Allotment:

Selected candidates are invited for counseling sessions. During counseling, candidates can choose their preferred program and specialization based on their rank and availability of seats. Seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s rank which is obtained in TS EAMCET / TS PGECET.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: 

Candidates who have successfully completed document verification within the specified time frame to confirm their seat. Once, the Verification is complete, the admission process is considered complete.
