Application Process:

The application process for admission to Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Science College was straightforward. It involved the following steps:

1. Offline Application: I visited the college physically and filled out the application form. The form required personal details, educational background, mark sheet of 12th class, aadhar card, caste certificate, and any additional information related to the admission process.
2. Supporting Documents: I gathered all the necessary documents, including my high school result, migration certificate, character certificate, and transfer certificate. I made sure to carefully review each document for accuracy and completeness before submitting them.
3. Tuition Fee: I paid the required tuition fee online at the fees counter of the college using the secure payment portal provided at the college. The fee was reasonable and standard for college applications.
4. Dress code: After successfully completing my offline application, I was taken to the uniform room where I selected the size of my blazer and got clothes of my dress to be stitched. After the submission of the college fees, I was given a receipt, acknowledging my application form.

Criteria or Eligibility of the Course:

The eligibility criteria for the course I applied to at College were as follows:

1. Academic Requirements: The college requires applicants to have successfully completed their high school from a recognized school and have appeared in competitive exams. A minimum grade point average was specified, and each candidate has to fulfill the academic requirements before applying.
2. Course Selection: There were various branches or courses including the Computer Science branch, AIML branch, Data Science branch, Civil branch, Mechanical branch, etc. One must be clear that which branch he or she has to choose. I was pretty clear that I got CS branch and the college faculty was so supportive that they enrolled me in that branch without an issue.

Admission Examination Experience:

As part of the admission process, the College considers the marks or the percentile of JEE exam which was conducted by NDA every year. Here’s a description of my experience:

1. Date and Format: The NDA announced the date and format of the engineering examination well in advance. The pattern of the exam was multiple choice questions that assessed my knowledge in the relevant subject areas including maths, physics, and chemistry.
2. Preparation: To prepare for the examination, I reviewed my high school textbooks thoroughly, class notes, and additional study materials related to the course. I also practiced solving previous year’s questions and took mock tests which were available at NDA’s official website.
3. Examination Day: On the examination day, I arrived at my designated examination center on time. A proper check of the candidates took place. The process was well-organized, and the staff members were helpful and supportive. I carried the necessary documents including my Aadhar card, passport-size photo, and admit card.
4. Examination Content: The examination consisted of multiple-choice questions and 5 numerical-type questions for each of the 3 subjects. It covered various topics related to the course curriculum and aimed to assess the depth of my knowledge of the subject.
5. Experience: The examination experience was challenging but fair. The questions were tough and required critical thinking and application of concepts. I managed my time effectively and attempted all the questions to the best of my ability. Webcam was on throughout the exam and the candidates were examined by the staff carefully. The exam also contained negative markings so one must take care of that.
6. Results: After the examination, the NDA informed applicants that the results would be communicated within a specified timeframe. I eagerly awaited the results to learn about my performance and the outcome of my application.

Overall, the admission experience at College was well-structured, and the application process and admission examination were conducted smoothly. The college’s transparent criteria and clear communication throughout the process made it a positive experience for me as an applicant. The college staff was very supportive and ensured that each student got the branch or course of his or her choice.
