Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology (PCE-Nagpur) Admission Experience

College life is the most beautiful part of every student’s life. A long time ago I m also part of this, Today I m going to share my some of my admission experience.

Priyadarshini  College of Engineering, located in Nagpur, offered a Bachelor in Engineering (B.E) program with a specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electronics, and Telecommunication. The admission process was a significant milestone in my academic journey, opening doors to a world of technological advancements and Opportunities.
The Bachelor in Engineering (B.E) program with a specialization in Computer Science at the Priyadarshini was a four-year undergraduate degree program. The course aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of computer science principles and fundamentals, of programming languages, algorithms, software development, and emerging technologies.

Exams of selection

College accepts all students who score 145  above Marks in the PCM group for open/OBC category student, for SC/ST category student, has criteria of 119 marks in the PCM group.
Since the college is  Hindi minority-based, admission for Hindi minority students is very easy at the low percentile. Admission is accepted on base of exam scores such as MHT-CET/JEE for engineering through a process known as a cap round conducted by the Maharashtra government.The total fee of the college is about RS 114800 /- but there is no need to pay full fees because the government provides a scholarship according to category.  Students are eligible for scholarships if they get admission through the cap round process. Scholarship for students according to their category type is followed:

• For open category: Full fees 
• Hindi Minorities: Half fees
• Obc category: Rs  65000-40000/- vary according to course
• SC/ST category: RS 900-1200/-

One of my Experiences

Since I m a very introverted and shy student who came from a small under develop village, at that time There is no craze for engineering in my village so I don’t know any process for admission and I m a first-person going first time outside from my home for admission and college.
When I enter my college’s big campus which I have never seen, a white building was just the same as a white house which is my department of computer science. When first time I enter for admission in that particular building  I got caught by my senior student they ate sweets and help a lot for my admission., as a senior student they also make fun of checking my patience, when there is a last step of admission is remaining and I get tired of standing from the morning, the teacher calls me for my documents verification with anger and said that sitt down here and give all your documents, I thought that how rude the teachers are, it is the best college for me or not in my mind and, I give him my all documents and just before sitting that my wheelchair sleep and I got fall down before many of students and teachers. I thought the teacher will shout at me but they politely said and laugh silently and said have you tired, you look hungry he give me his food provided by the college for the teachers’ lunch. At lunch there is samosa and force me to eat, all teachers also came towards me and provide his lunch, I feel shy at that time but they care about me as a child and did my verification without any disturbance.  
That day I realized that teachers are not different, they also felt tired of something but everyone is almost right at his own place.
