Atos Synte Interview Experience for Associate Consultant (Off-Campus)

This article intends to provide the readers with a brief idea about the overall recruitment process of Atos Syntel concerning the position of Associate Consultant. As a fresher, I applied for the Atos Syntel Off Campus Drive 2022. The whole recruitment process was virtually conducted. Eligibility for this drive and complete procedure is discussed ahead.

Eligibility for Atos Syntel Off Campus Drive 2022

Full-time B.Tech/B.E./MCA in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized university (3-Tier Colleges were eligible too)

  1. Minimum 60% marks in 10th, 12th, etc.
  2. No current backlogs. 

The recruitment process was divided into the following sections.

Round 1 (Online Test)

The test was completely proctored with camera and microphone accesses.

  1. The total duration of this round was around 90 mins. 
  2. This round included MCQ-type questions.
  3. There was no negative marking in this round.
  4. This round was subdivided into two sections, Basic Aptitude (Quants, Logical Reasoning, Verbal) of 60 mins & Technical MCQs of 30 mins (C++, DSA, Computer Fundamentals).
  5. This was an elimination round, applicants need to score at least 25-30% to get ahead.

Those students who meet the selection criteria were moved forward for the next upcoming rounds of recruitment.

Round 2 (Coding Round)

This round included 3 programming questions.

  1. The time duration for this round was 150 mins.
  2. The difficulty level of the problems was easy to moderate.
  3. Applicants could choose their preferred language and submit their solutions within the given time. 

Students who passed this round were moved forward to the final interview round.

Round 3 (Technical Interview)

This was the final selection round as in this particular drive no other interviews were taken.

  1. The interview was scheduled over Microsoft Teams and it lasted around 40-60 mins.
  2. Starting with my introduction, the interviewer proceeded to ask questions related to my final year project, the basics of the tech stack used in the project, and the scope and resolution of the project in the real world.
  3. Moving forward, the interviewer asked questions related to OOPS concepts with examples, Data Structures, their comparisons, differences, and their maximum memory utilization. Proceeding with DBMS questions and Operating System scheduling algorithms as well. 
  4. At last, the interviewer asked me to write the logic for finding 2 elements from a given list, whose product will be the largest.

There was no other round after the interview, no HR round was organized. After this final round within 15-20 days, I was sent the offer letter for the position of Associate Consultant at Atos Syntel.
