Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing well. I am here to share my interview experience with Atos which was held in March 2021. It was an on-campus drive.

Before the actual test, the company conducted a brief presentation ( PPT) covering all the aspects of the company, described the role for which they were hiring, the actual CTC, etc. Post PPT there was an online test.

Round 1: Online test ( Proctored)

Time: 1 hour

  • The online test was conducted on the Mettl platform and it consisted of multiple-choice questions covering basic questions such as aptitude, logical reasoning, some basic technical C, C++ questions ( trees, oops, array, etc). Mostly all questions were simple, some questions were of moderate level.
  • There was no negative marking!
  • Candidates who cleared round 1 were invited for round 2

Note: Each round was an elimination round.

Round 2: Interview round

Platform used: Microsoft Teams

Time: 45 mins

  • The interview round was a bit tricky. They asked me about the general OOPS concept, then they switched to OS, there were questions such as what is cache, multi-core architecture, multi programming, the difference between process and thread, explain thread in detail.
  • They asked me basic DBMS questions such as how to write update queries, also they asked me to write a C or C++ program on reversing a string which was quite easy. ( Be clear with entire logic) .
  • Also one question on how to insert an element at a specific position in the array ( what will be the logic for this).
  • Then they asked me about HTML. The basic tags. What is an iframe tag? What is the syntax of img tag? The difference between <tr> <td> <th> tag. Which tag doesn’t require closing tag etc.

Round 3: Interview round

Time: 30 mins

  • It was a more conceptual-based round in which the interviewer asked me about encryption, how can you secure the database? What are a public key and a private key? How does it work?
  • Then he asked me about TCP protocol and UDP protocol. Difference between them.
  • What is multi-factor authentication.? . Some basics of JavaScript.

Round 4: HR round

  • This round was over a phone call, where HR discussed the previous two rounds. It was a general discussion about the role in the company, training period, etc.
  • The next day results were declared, and I was selected!

Tip: Be clear with your concepts and programming logic.

All the best!
