AITH College Kanpur Shankhnaad Fest Experience

I am currently pursuing by Bachelor of Technology degree from the IT branch of this college. I am in my third year, now helping my batchmates to organize many fest and events of college. Back in my first year, when I was recently enrolled in this college. I was not aware of any fest, but as more than four months passes, there was a very big event held inside my college campus known by the name “passed”.

Organization of SHANKHNAAD :

The event Shankhnaad is a mixed event that includes all types of literary events, blog writing competitions, all types of coding content, hackathons, classical culture events, shufti night, DJ night, Bollywood dance, songs, rap battles, and many more events. This event is organized in the month of May and is a three-day event. The event is mainly organized by senior students of our college. The event starts at 8:00 am in the morning and ends at 10:00 pm in the night, continuously for more than hours.

Preparation Of SHANKHNAAD :

According to me, every student takes part in at least one event among all the events. There are no restrictions, one student can take part in as many events according to his/her interest. The preparation for the event started one month ago, and because every student wants to perform best in the event, he is participating. Other college students are only allowed in DJ night and Sufi night.

Personal experience :

I personally appreciate this event, because I enjoyed this event twice, both during my first and second year. Every student represents their best, in the event they are participating. This is the reason for the success of this event. I had also participated in a coding contest and enjoyed, senior mentoring us and also helped us in hackathon.

Literary Events :

Some big personalities are also invited to make this event successful. The literary events are the best part of this huge Event. Classical dance, Bollywood dance, singing, rap battle, nukkad natak, lazy dance, couple dance, group singing, ramp walk, chord battle, and many more competitions. Nearly, more than 40 individual events are held within three days. I enjoyed this event a lot, and I will also attend in the future, two more times with new zeal.
