Accenture Interview Experience for Packaged App Development Associate 2024

I recently appeared for the Accenture recruitment process.

Round 1: MCQ Test

The multiple-choice questionnaire comprehensively covered fundamental concepts in profit and loss, percentages, English grammar, relationships, ratios, age-related problem-solving, and analogous subjects.

Following the completion of the multiple-choice questionnaire, the results were promptly delivered within a 5-minute interval, seamlessly transitioning into the commencement of the subsequent coding round without any delay.

Round 2: Coding Test

During the coding segment, the questions were a bit fuzzy in my memory, but they revolved around arrays and strings, totalling two questions for me. Interestingly, my friends had a different experience; they tackled problems related to strings and linked lists during their tests.

Round 3: Communication Assessment

After the coding round, participants received an email notification for the communication round, which notably wasn’t intended as an elimination phase. This segment involved reading aloud displayed text while also assessing participants’ listening acumen, thereby encompassing a multifaceted evaluation process.

Round 4: Interview

The interview commenced with a delay of 15 minutes from the scheduled time. The line of questioning comprised:

1. Self-introduction
2. Examination of teamwork: Pros and cons
3. Approach to handling conflict situations among coworkers
4. Personal experience of giving 100% effort yet facing defeat
5. Insights into the reasons behind the defeat and subsequent learning outcomes from the experience.

My interview duration spanned around 30-40 minutes, primarily delving into behavioural aspects and assessing my social and soft skills. Interestingly, I didn’t encounter any technical questions, which differed from my friends’ experiences, as they faced inquiries about technical aspects. It seems the interview focus might vary depending on the interviewer or individual circumstances.

Result:

Following the interview process, a month later, the results were disclosed, and I received the affirmative news of my selection as a Packaged App Development Associate at Accenture. Shortly thereafter, I received a formal Letter of Intent, solidifying the offer.
