Accenture plc is a Dublin-based Irish-American professional services firm that specializes in IT consulting and services. As a Fortune Global 500 company, it will have $61.6 billion in sales in 2022. Accenture India has offices all across the country. Seven are in Bengaluru, six in Mumbai, three in Gurugram, Hyderabad, and Pune, two in Chennai and Noida, and one in Coimbatore, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, and New Delhi.

Round 1: Online Assessment

The stage of the selection process, for Accenture Off Campus 2023 involved an aptitude test. This test comprised multiple-choice questions that encompassed a range of subjects, such as aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal ability. Candidates were given a time limit of 90 minutes to complete the test.

Round 2: Round of Online Communication

There was an additional Online Communication Round after passing the online aptitude test. This phase was designed to evaluate the candidate’s communication skills, namely their ability to listen to and speak in English. It was delivered via a virtual environment and included both listening and speaking components.

  • Listening Section: Candidates were asked to listen to a recorded conversation or speech and answer questions based on what they heard in this portion. The questions were designed to assess their cognitive abilities as well as their attention to detail.
  • Speaking Section: During the speaking phase, candidates were given themes or prompts to talk about for a set amount of time. This portion of the round evaluated the candidate’s ability to express themselves effectively and fluently.

Round 3: Technical + HR Interview

Moving on to the phase candidates faced an interview conducted by a senior software engineer from Accenture. The primary focus of this interview was to evaluate the candidate’s knowledge problem solving abilities and programming skills. Some of the questions posed during this stage included:

  1. Explain the concept of object-oriented programming with an example.
  2. What differentiates a class from an interface in Java?
  3. Provide code in your programming language for reversing a string.
  4. How do you handle exceptions in your code?
  5. Tell us about yourself and your background.
  6. Why are you interested, in working at Accenture?
  7. What do you know about Accenture’s culture and values?
  8. Describe a situation you encountered while working on team projects and how you managed to overcome it.
  9. How do you cope with stress? Meet deadlines?
  10. What are your professional goals? How do you envision your growth, within Accenture?
