Visteon Interview Experience for Software Engineer

The company came to the campus as part of placements in the month of September. The Interview process is of 4 rounds. Every round in the interview process is an elimination round.

• Online Test
• Technical Interview 1
• Technical Interview 2
• HR round

Round 1: It was an online round. The assessment consists of MCQs and Coding. The MCQs are from topics such as Embedded Systems, C Programming, and OOPS. The coding assessment has questions of medium-level difficulty.

Round 2: Technical Interview 1: This round happened online in MS Teams. The interviewer is very friendly and he asked me to do the self-introduction for 2 minutes.

• In this round, the interviewer asked me in-depth questions related to my project. I answered most of the technical questions related to my project.
• Further, he asked questions related to aptitude, embedded systems, and embedded C.
• I was asked to code some basic code like checking for a palindrome and printing the fabinocci series.

Round 3: Technical Interview 2: This is also an online round conducted in MS Teams.

• In this round, I was asked to draw the block diagram of my project in MS Paint and further, and some questions are asked about my project.
• Further, they asked me to code to swap two numbers without using a third variable and some questions about bitwise operators in c++.
• Followed by some managerial questions.

Round 4: HR Round: This is the final round and happened on a phone call. HR called me and asked to introduce myself and about relocation. This round happened for 5 minutes.

Finally, within a week, we got the final results and nearly  70-80 students got selected from my campus Luckily I am one of them.
