Visteon came to my college as a part of campus placements. However, they conducted pool placements on 31st October 2023.

It comprised of 4 interview rounds

Aptitude test (online)

The aptitude test was simple and comprised of basic logical and reasoning questions, verbal analytical, quant and coding questions. Overall it was easy

GD

The GD was very simple, they eliminated very few students in this round. This is just to test your fluency and confidence in public speaking.

Tech interview 1

They assigned roles based on their performance in the aptitude round. I was initially assigned a system validation role. Being from the cse field I had minimal knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers. So I requested a shift to sde role and interviewed for the same. I was asked about differences between runtime and compile time polymorphism, oops concepts, and inheritance and asked to write pseudo code for the same. I cleared that round easily.

Tech interview 2

Since it was pool placements, around 250 students were there, out of which 150 qualified for the next tech round. This was project based and also mixed with managerial questions. Explain your projects clearly and in simple terms. Do not complicate things.

HR round

Around 50 students got qualified for the HR round, This was also very very basic HR questions.

I finally got the offer at Visteon and I am super grateful.
