The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT) Jaipur Admission Experience

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to The LNMIIT is completely based on merit in Jee Mains; there are no reservations based on category, gender, or other factors. There are four ways to apply for undergrad admissions:

• Regular Mode (For Indian Nationals through JEE (Main) Exam)
• DASA Mode (Direct Admissions of Students Abroad (For FN/OCI/CIWG) )
• Board Toppers Mode ( Direct Admission for board toppers)
• Lateral Entry Mode (Admission in 2nd and 3rd semester)

Admission Process:

The admissions procedure begins immediately after the JEE Mains results are released. Candidates must submit an online application on the Institute’s website and select the preference order for the branch.

Counseling and Seat Allotment:

The counseling process consists of three to four rounds in which seats are allotted to candidates based on a Merit List generated based on the Final NTA score (percentile) attained in Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech.) in JEE (Main); in the event of a tie-breaker, the criteria is specified on the Institute’s website. A few more rounds are also conducted after the first physical reporting if seats are empty and the final spot round is conducted after 1 month of initial reporting.

Document Verification:

Following the end of the online round, candidates who have successfully secured a seat must report to the institution in person for Document Verification on the dates specified on the website.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation:

If the candidate clears the cutoff of any round as released by the college he/she has to deposit Provisional fees of Rs.25000, after that if the candidate gets a confirmed seat (from the list of the preference the candidate filled) he/she has to pay the remaining 1st-semester fee to be considered for subsequent rounds. The candidate has the option to freeze the allotted branch or wait for the next round to get a chance to upgrade to the higher preferred branch.

Orientation and commencement of Classes:

Following document verification, Orientation is arranged for both parents and students, during which they are briefed on every aspect of the institute, from academics to extracurricular activities held throughout the year. Following that, classes begin the following day.
