Let’s talk about my college.

Firstly, I want to tell you guys this college is one of the best private colleges ranked in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Techno India University always talks about innovation. It is the first college in India that brought the first-ever made robot, Sofia, around 3 years ago.

Techno India University has GDSC (Google Developers Students Club), which comes up with great ideas every time. Recently they came up with the idea of TechXtreme, which builds entrepreneurship ideas among students. Besides, it is a club where students are taught coding, DSA, WEB DEVELOPMENT, and many more by their own seniors, who are well-established in their fields. Techno India University has a variety of clubs, for singing (including beatboxing), dancing (all forms mostly), drama, technology, and many more.

The fests here are engaging. However, the ragging culture is pretty much exhausting here. The seniors can beat you up (especially first year) if they are in a bad mood. Strikes are often here, around 3-4 in 6 months.

My first-year journey has been full of ups and downs. During the first year, I used to get stuck in coding. However, I joined GDSC TIU for a better understanding. The college seniors were pretty much helpful with my learning process. Enjoyed the fests to the fullest.

Placements are average here. The average placements lie around 6-7 lakhs per annum. However last year, the highest package went up to 20 lakhs per annum.
