I applied for the role of software developer at TCS and was selected for an interview after a preliminary screening process. Here’s a detailed account of my interview experience:

Round 1: Online Written Test

The first round of the interview process was an online written test. The test was divided into three sections – Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. The test was of moderate difficulty, and I was able to attempt most of the questions within the given time frame.

Round 2: Technical Interview

After clearing the written test, I was called for a technical interview. The interviewer asked me about my educational background and my interest in software development. He then proceeded to ask me a few technical questions related to programming, data structures, and algorithms. He also asked me to explain a few projects that I had worked on during my college days. I could answer most of his questions confidently, but I struggled with a few of them.

Round 3: HR Interview

The final round was an HR interview. The interviewer asked me about my hobbies, interests, and my reasons for wanting to join TCS. She also discussed the job profile and the salary package with me. I was able to negotiate a slightly higher salary than what was initially offered.

Overall, the interview experience at TCS was challenging but enjoyable. The interviewers were friendly and professional, and the entire process was well-organized. A few days after the interview, I received an email from TCS stating that I had been selected for the job.
