Srujan Infotech Interview Experience – PHP Developer

Hello, everyone, I would like to share my recent interview experience with Srujan Infotech for the role of PHP Developer. This interview happened last week, and I’m excited to share my journey with you all.

Instructions and Specifications:

I came across the job portal of the job opening for a PHP Developer at Srujan Infotech. I was happy because the company has a good reputation for innovation and good work culture. I immediately applied and submitted my updated resume along with a resume. A few days later, I received an email from the HR team of Srujan Infotech, inviting me for a screening round over the phone. My profile had been shortlisted based on my experience and qualifications.

Phone Test Team:

One of the HR representatives conducted the telephone testing round. The interviewer asked about my previous experience, my knowledge of PHP programming, and the projects I have worked on in the past. They also asked for my skills in MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The conversation was friendly, and the HR representative also gave me an overview of the company’s work culture and values. After a productive discussion, I was informed that I had successfully set up the phone and was invited for a personal technical interview.

Technical Interviews: The next week, a technical interview was scheduled at the office of Srujan Infotech. The interview team consisted of two senior PHP developers and a technical leader. They were welcoming and created a comfortable environment to share my skills and experience.

Round 1: Technical:

In this round, the interviewer started by asking me about my experience with PHP. They asked about PHP implementations, object-oriented programming ideas, and how familiar I was with PHP programs like Laravel and CodeIgniter. I was asked to write code snippets to demonstrate my problem-solving skills and understanding of PHP best practices.

Round 2 Role-based questions :

In the second phase, interviewees delved into my previous work. They were particularly interested in a web application I was developing with Laravel. I was asked to explain how the application was developed, the challenges I faced during the development process, and how they were solved. I had to justify my design choices and demonstrate my knowledge of database optimization and security practices.

The third stage is problem-solving

The last round was a problem-solving exercise on PHP. Respondents presented coding challenges and asked me to come up with customized solutions. These problems required a thorough understanding of algorithms, data structures, and logical reasoning
