WisdmLabs Interview Experience for PHP Developer (2023)

WisdmLabs is a Pune-based IT company that conducted an on-campus recruitment drive in January 2023. They were hiring for the position of PHP Developer.

Selection Process:

1. Telephonic Round
2. Coding test
3. Technical Interview
4. HR Interview

Telephonic Round:

• Introduce yourself
• Provide details about the interview process

Coding Test:

Test Time: 40 Mins

• The coding test consisted of 5 questions covering topics such as arrays, 2D arrays, strings, and patterns.

Technical Interview:

• Introduce yourself.
• Discuss your final year project.
• Explain the difference between C++ and Python.
• Define data and database.
• Find the 2nd maximum salary from an employee table.
• Swap values between two columns (SQL problem).
• Move the last element of an array to the first position.
• Some basic questions from PHP (identical operator, difference between == and === ).

HR Interview:

• Discuss your final-year project
• Share your experience of the technical interview
• Inquire about your comfort with a remote setup
