I got this opportunity through a referral. The entire process took approximately one week to complete. After one week of applying, I received a call, and this is a screening round (first round). During this round, the interviewer asked me a variety of questions, including:

  1. Tell me about yourself.
  2. Education background.
  3. What are your greatest weaknesses, and how did you overcome them?
  4. Questions based on my resume.

Second Round

Following the screening round, the second round took place on the same day via Google Meet. This round focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) based questions. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself again and posed additional questions based on my resume. The topics covered in this round were similar to the screening round, including:

  1. The difference between REST and SOAP.
  2. What is an API?
  3. Discussion about the sort function.
  4. Explanation of the map in Java.
  5. Questions related to the Binary Search Tree (BST).
  6. Which server is used in Spring Boot?
  7. Implementation of HashMap.
  8. Maven vs Gradle.

Third Round

And the third round involved a meeting with the co-founder of Refo. This round was more general and aimed to provide insights into the company culture. The co-founder asked questions to understand my fit within the organization and also shared information about the company’s culture and working environment.

*This company is a 2023 startup, they more focus on the development side.
