Orsted Interview Experience for IAM Engineer 2023

Application:
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Ørsted (Kuala Lumpur) in August 2023 via Zoom.

Interview:
I was contacted by the recruiter initially for resume shortlisting. My resume was shortlisted by the hiring manager and there were a total of three rounds.
The first round was with the hiring manager and the next two rounds were technical. Post my last technical round the recruiter contacted me and said that I had been selected and he would further inform me about the offer letter release.
I waited for two weeks and after that, the recruiter contacted me and informed me that they decided to hire somebody from Denmark and not from Kuala Lumpur which did not make any sense. The company is a complete waste of time because if they waste candidates as well as company time and effort like this, it’s pretty evident how will they treat their employees when they join. It’s so frustrating for candidates to go through and clear three rounds.
Please respect the candidates that you are interviewing and do not conduct interviews with false expectations.
