I had the opportunity to participate in an on-campus drive conducted by OpenText, where they were hiring interns. The interview process consisted of multiple rounds, as outlined below:

First Round: CV Shortlisting

Fortunately, my CV got shortlisted for the next round, indicating that my qualifications and experiences aligned with OpenText’s requirements.

Second Round: Technical Test

In this round, I encountered two coding questions related to map and stack data structures. Having completed the Data Structures and Algorithms course from GFG and extensively practiced various coding problems, I found the questions to be quite straightforward. With a solid foundation in DSA, I confidently solved both questions, ensuring that all test cases passed without any failures. This performance allowed me to proceed to the next round.

HR Round:

The HR round was conducted online, and it proved to be an extraordinary journey. The HR representative began by asking the classic question, “Tell me about yourself.” I provided a concise and engaging overview of my background, emphasizing my skills, achievements, and passion for the field.

The subsequent question focused on my family background, giving me the opportunity to share insights into my support system and how it has shaped my personal and professional development. The HR representative then asked about a significant event or experience from my life, testing my ability to recall and articulate impactful moments promptly.

Next, I was asked to describe a project I had worked on, clarifying whether it was a group or individual project. I enthusiastically discussed the project, highlighting the technologies utilized and the successful outcome achieved. Finally, the HR representative invited me to ask any questions I had, demonstrating OpenText’s commitment to transparency and ensuring that potential employees make well-informed decisions.

The entire interview process was smooth and well-structured, allowing me to showcase my abilities effectively.

After a few days, I received the news that I had been selected for the internship position at OpenText. I felt elated and honored to join a prestigious organization known for its innovative solutions and supportive work environment.
