First Year to Final Year Journey:

My journey at NIT Jamshedpur began with a mix of excitement and nervousness. As a wide-eyed freshman, I was warmly welcomed during the orientation program, which eased the transition into college life. The initial days were about making new friends, adapting to hostel life, and familiarizing myself with the campus.

Academically, the first year laid the foundation for technical knowledge and instilled a sense of discipline in me. As I progressed to subsequent years, the courses became more specialized and challenging. The professors were knowledgeable and supportive, and I appreciated the freedom to pursue research projects in areas of interest.

As the years rolled by, I learned the importance of time management and the value of consistent effort. The curriculum was rigorous, but the hands-on approach and practical learning helped me grasp complex concepts effectively.

About the Placements: NIT Jamshedpur had an excellent placement cell that worked tirelessly to ensure the students’ successful transition into the professional world. The placement process began well in advance, with companies from various industries conducting pre-placement talks and campus interviews. In 2023 placement %age is around 98%.In core branches placement is 90% plus.

During the final year, the campus came alive with the placement season. I attended mock interviews, group discussions, and resume-building workshops organized by the placement cell, which significantly boosted my confidence. The institute’s reputation and the quality of education attracted top companies, offering diverse job roles and lucrative packages.

For me personally, the placement process was a mix of nerves and excitement. However, with the support of my mentors and peers, I managed to secure a position in a reputed company that aligned with my career goals.

Things I Learned and the Good/Bad Aspects of the College:
