The college admission process marks a significant milestone in a student’s life, paving the way for academic pursuits and personal growth. JEE Entrance Examination:

The journey to securing admission at MNNITA commenced with the formidable JEE Main Examination. This rigorous test evaluates students’ proficiency in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, demanding months of dedicated preparation and unwavering commitment. On the day of the examination, a palpable sense of anticipation filled the air as students nationwide grappled with challenging questions, reflecting the culmination of relentless study and preparation.

Application Procedure:

Following success in the JEE Main, the next step involved participation in the centralized counselling process facilitated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). This pivotal stage allowed candidates to exercise their preferences for institutions and courses based on their ranks and seat availability. Thoughtful consideration and informed decision-making were crucial in navigating this stage effectively.

JoSSA Counselling: Choosing an Information Technology Branch:

Armed with my JEE Main rank, I embarked on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA) counselling journey. This phase entailed deliberating over available options and making informed choices regarding course preferences and institution selection. Securing a coveted seat in the Information Technology (IT) branch at MNNITA in the initial round of counselling filled me with immense joy and anticipation for the educational journey ahead.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to MNNITA necessitates meeting specific eligibility criteria, including achieving a commendable rank in the JEE Main examination, adhering to age restrictions, and fulfilling the institute’s academic prerequisites. Understanding and fulfilling these qualifying conditions are essential to ensure a seamless admission process.

Important Documents:

Documentation plays a pivotal role throughout the admission process, serving as tangible evidence of a candidate’s credentials and personal information. Essential documents required for admission to MNNITA are :

1. JEE Main Admit Card and Scorecard: Essential documents serving as verification of the candidate’s qualification in the JEE Main examination.
2. Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets: Documents confirming the candidate’s academic achievements in secondary (Class 10) and upper secondary (Class 12) examinations.
3. Category Certificates (if applicable): Valid certificates issued by competent government authorities for candidates belonging to restricted categories such as SC/ST/OBC.
4. Migration/Transfer Certificate: Required for applicants transferring from another educational institution to MNNITA, serving as evidence of prior academic records.
5. Character Certificate: A document from the candidate’s previous school/college providing information about their conduct and behaviour.
6. Identification Proof (e.g., Adhaar Card): Proof of identity necessary for official identification purposes.

Experience with the Admissions Process:

Navigating the admissions process amidst the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I underwent online document verification due to geographical constraints. Upon arrival at the college, completing hostel and mess-related formalities ensued, culminating in the allocation of a room at Kamla Nehru Girls Hostel (KNGH). The overall experience at MNNITA has been enriching, characterized by a vibrant culture and invaluable learning opportunities.
