Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

First Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

Agaram Subbarayalu Reddiar served as the first chief minister of the Madras Presidency. He held the position of President of the Cuddalore Taluk Board in 1912. After that he became the Chairman of the South Arcot District Board in 1917. Madras Presidency was a province under British India.
