Present Chief Minister of Kerala – Pinarayi Vijayan
Pinarayi Vijayan is the current CM of Kerala. He was born on 21st March 1944 in Pinarayi, Kerala. After completing his early education, he studied at Government Brennen College in Thalassery. Vijayan started his political journey in student activities at the college and joined the Communist Party in 1964. During the emergency from 1975 to 1977, he confronted detention and torture.
In his ministerial function, he focused on energy and cooperation, contributing to the state’s increased power-era capacity. He was elected to the Kerala Assembly in multiple instances from distinct constituencies. He’s regarded for specializing in social welfare (Housing Schemes, Financial Aid) and improvement all through his management. His government has worked on problems like women’s empowerment, healthcare, schooling, and infrastructure.
