The position of Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir has remained vacant since June 20, 2018. From June 20, 2018, to December 19, 2018, the state was under the governance of a governor, and subsequently, it was under the jurisdiction of the president’s rule until October 30, 2019. After the reorganization of the state into a Union territory in October 2019, the president’s rule was revoked, and the administration was allocated to the lieutenant governor.

The position of Chief Minister in Jammu and Kashmir has remained vacant since June 20, 2018.
