Internshala Training Experience

I am currently pursuing an MCA degree in The American College, Madurai. Here I have shared my quiet experience of doing the web development course in Internshala Trainings.

Internshala is one of the job search platforms in India that offers more opportunities for students for their career development. They also provide​ a numerous number of internship and job opportunities to freshers all around the country. They also provide various courses in different streams which are paid. I have chosen a web development to course learn new skills in Web Technology and for my career growth too.

My Training in Web Development

The web development course training provided by Internshala was for only three months. I have enrolled by paying for this course in the month of June 2023. In the web development course​, they provided each programming language in each module. The first module provided by them is about HTML.​ Similarly, they have organized each programming language from beginner level to advanced level. This gave me more confidence in learning web development in a quick manner.​ It is a recorded video of a mentor who sends experience to a professional web developer working in a top company. The mentor taught a course in an effective manner in which these students were able to understand quickly. I was very eager to learn more about web development. The course begins from the basics of HTML to the intermediate of JavaScript. It was a full-stack web development course in which we learned about the important concepts of web development that helped us to create a website in an easy way. I have learned the skills in HTML, CSS, Javascript, BootStrap, MySQL, PHP, and React js. The basic requirements for web development or taught very easily by the internshala training. The doubts that also clarified by the mentors in a short duration of time.

​​ I was supposed to do the training for two houses per day. Though this training was about three months, I have completed this course within two months. I have done this course after I completing my college assignments. By doing this course I got to know that learning about the basic concepts are simple. I gained confidence on myself about creating a website on my own . This internshala training had provided me a lots of skills regarding web development.

The Unpaid Internships

With the help of training I have done two unpaid internships provided by LinkedIn. I may suggest that before trying for an internship with stipend or a job, it is better to do an unpaid internship to gain extra skills about the domain in which we are interested. This may help us to learn additional information about the domain. The main advantage is that we don’t have to attend any interview for the selection. After registering an unpaid internship, the company may send you the offer letter with the tasks that are to be performed by you in a couple of days.

The companies in which I have worked as an web developer in intern are Code Alpha and Bharat Intern. I have applied these to company not for getting stipend but to gain additional skills regarding the web development. Each company provided different simple projects regarding frontend web development. The projects are creating a Portfolio website, Resume Builder, Temperature converter and a Blog website. I have created this projects with help of because which I have learnt from Internshala training and also from the YouTube resources. I also gained extra knowledge about web development from exploring other developers portfolio in GitHub. This web development projects are created by using the programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

​Outcome of the Training

This training have really helped me to build a website on my own using the required language for it .The important thing I learned from this training is when we master the basics skills, it may help us to break the intermediate skills in whatever domain we are interested and by learning alone is not possible to become a perfect developer or something else we need to practice on it frequently. This training had given me a valuable experience in which I can add it to my resume as well.
