Successful Selection at Infosys: Navigating the Interview Process

I joined Infosys as a fresher. The selection process involved a screening test, based on which I was selected for the interview stage. The interview consisted of a single technical round, and I was asked the following questions:

1. Can you please introduce yourself?
2. Which programming language are you familiar with? (I mentioned Java)
3. Could you explain some of the key Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts you’re familiar with, such as polymorphism, inheritance, data hiding, and encapsulation?

I was also asked some fundamental questions related to inheritance.

Additionally, there were output-based questions that tested my understanding of inheritance.

The interview lasted for about 40 to 50 minutes. After approximately a month, I received confirmation from Infosys that I had been successfully selected.
