Infosys Interview Experience for System Engineer (Off-Campus)

I want to share my experience with Infosys Limited.

There are several rounds that we need to qualify to get a job in Infosys Limited as a System Engineer Role.

Round 1: First round is the assessment round which is conducted online. The assessment round is basically to check the logical thinking and logical approach of candidates.

It consists of:

Logical Reasoning: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning

Verbal Reasoning:

• Coding-Decoding
• Blood Relations
• Puzzle test.
• Insert the missing character.

Non-verbal Reasoning:

• Series
• Analogy
• Classification.
• Completion of the incomplete pattern.

Quantitative Aptitude:

• Time and work.
• Time and distance.
• Problems with the train.
• Pipes and cisterns.
• Problem with ages.
• Profit and loss.
• Ration and proportion.
• Boat and streams.
• Simple interest.
• Compound interest.
• Percentage.
• Problems with numbers.
• Simplification.

Verbal ability:

• Fill in the blanks.
• Spotting error.
• Sentence correction.
• Para jumbles
• One-word substitution.
• Reading comprehension.

Pseudo Code: Try to solve the MCQ Questions of C, C++, DBMS, Data Structure, SQL Fromm GEEKSFOEGEEKS.

Puzzle questions: Try to solve puzzle mathematical questions from GEEKSFORGEEKS.

Suggestion:

• For Round-1 Daily Practice 10-20 Questions form each section from online sites like GeeksforGeeks and INDIABIX.
• Tips: Always try to solve the questions with time management and accuracy.

Round 2: (Technical round & HR Round):

The second Round of Infosys is the combination of both the technical round & HR Round. It is basically an online interview in which the interviewer asks some technical questions and HR-related questions.

Technical questions are:

• Introduce yourself.
• Tell me your project details description which you are done during the final year.
• Which is your favorite technical subject

Tips: Always choose your favorite subject in which you are really very strong

Some technical questions were asked about computer science topics like

Be prepared with these questions also

• What is SDLC?
• Difference between C and C++.
• What is a pointer?
• What is a Dangling pointer?
• Why you want to join Infosys.
• Lastly, the interviewer asked questions from my side.

Suggestion: At last Always asks some question from the interviewer”.

Tips: Always be attractive to the interviewer eye contact is very important and be well-dress like knocking a tie during the interview which leaves a great impact on the interviewer.
