Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. Interview Experience for SDE

Introduction 

It was a dream come true for me to visit the administrative building of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for the first time. The importance of visiting IOCL & seeing how PSU companies serve the nation cannot be overstated. 

How to get into Indian Oil Corporation Ltd 

The same question I asked my seniors when I was in my 2nd year they replied  always keep in eyes of their official websites so yes always search for opportunities on their official website 

Secondly request your Training and Placement Cell if you are from a 3-tier college to write a mail to recruit students for Summer/Winter Internship. 

Lastly, prepare for their selection Test Internship Interview Prepare well in DSA and  OOPs concepts if you are on campus  I practiced with Geeksforgeeks for Interview and DSA preparation, practice.geeksforgeeks.com many times IOCL won’t ask questions from core concepts but they will ask you to implement Development Projects for them?

Make sure you have made good projects by yourself only. after that apply in their portal example such as  https://iocl.com/pages/guwahati-refinery

How was my experience?

It was an amazing journey you will pass various security checks while entering IOCL administrative building, get your  own chamber, get free food and you will able to learn new technologies that industries need and able to develop your leadership and teamwork roles 

Lastly, you get lots of treats from senior guides(Senior Engineer)  after completion of your tasks (if you performed very well)

It helps you get a good impression on your CV/resume

What work I did in IOCL 

As an SDE Intern, I worked on XXX project sorry but it’s not recommended to tell publically what I did but you can think it’s related to the development of IOCL and other similar industries.
