Ideal Institute of Technology Kakinada Campus Experience

I have studied for my Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Ideal Institute of Technology, Kakinada. I joined my college in 2018. The college was then affiliated with JNTUK University. So the entire syllabus structure was related to the JNTUK University curriculum. I have chosen this college as it is near to my home town.

My college atmosphere was friendly. All the students were helpful including our seniors. My college professors would teach us with a lot of preparation and also provide us with hand notes and materials and reference textbooks. During my second and third year of study, the Covid-19 pandemic stuck with us due to which we had classes on online meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams. My professors even then took their time to teach us the syllabus from scratch and made sure we understood the subject.

We got a handful of software companies for our on-campus jobs. I have cracked multiple companies which include Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Capgemini. Our professors motivated and guided us in preparation for various placements and took mock-Interview sessions which helped us a lot with our interviews. Our Training and Placements Officer helped us a lot by conducting mock-Interviews and Inviting our seniors to share their interview experience with us. Discussed the exam pattern and what topics to prepare.

The best thing about our college is the library and the cricket ground. Our library has a vast collection of books including the ones to prepare for competitive exams, GRE, TOEFL, CAT, and academic books. The library staff ensured the books are maintained well and organized everything well. Our college playground was vast and we used to have a good time playing after a long day of classes. I didn’t feel anything bad about my college as I have gained very insightful knowledge from my professors, and seniors. I had a very good time studying at my college and feel it was a good decision to choose my knowledge. Always do remember that no matter the college, no matter the location and reputation.
