Government Polytechnic Muzaffarpur Campus Experience

Hello everyone!

I am Akarsh from India and currently pursuing Polytechnic Engineering from Government Polytechnic Muzaffarpur with my branch of Computer Science and Engineering. I am feeling very glad to share my experience with you.

During my school life, I had only a little knowledge about computers and technology..but still, I was interested in studying in the field of Computers. In class 12 my teachers introduced me to Python programming, it was my first experience learning programming but I was not interested because there was only theory and no practical but still I continued. My father advised me to crack the Polytechnic entrance exam. I cleared the exam and got admission to the 1st ranking college of Computer Science and Engineering for Polytechnic in Bihar, Government Polytechnic Muzaffarpur.

On my first day of college, my seniors strictly taught us how to introduce ourselves and some disciplined manners. Our college has very goats not engineering students as I think. The college taught us all the basic subjects important for engineering like Chemistry, physics, graphics and more papers. But I always focused on my Programming journey because on YouTube I have seen many videos, short videos that advised me to learn programming.

So I started with Python but my brother and a friend of my father advised me to learn C programming first. I started to learn C programming language first but since it was new to me and something complex I chose some wrong source to study and I was learning theoretically only due to the reasons I left that but after a week I started again.

So, in this way, I completed my first-year studies as well as programming. I created some basic projects myself because no one was to help me.

During 2nd year I started to learn Python programming and was successful in that as well as I completed it. During 2nd semester my Professor Prof. Niraj Nirmal introduced me to the world of Web designing and development. He used to teach us the subject Introduction to IT Systems and when he started HTML I was attracted to that topic from there I started my Web designing and development journey. As with the programming I also created some projects myself because reasons mentioned above. Then I again switched to YouTube and started to follow “Apna College”, “CodeWithHarry” and “WScube tech”. This channel helped me to learn my favorite course. Now I am in the 4th semester and I think that I have a good knowledge of Frontend as well as Backend and I learning more and more.

During college sessions, I have created two basic websites as my project and working on another website.

The time-to-time labor is giving me more experience.
