Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic College, Gwalior Campus Experience For Diploma in CSE

I am a final year CSE student at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic College, Gwalior. In this article, I will be discussing about the college campus & its various events.

About the Campus:

• This college is located in Naka Chandrvadni, Gwalior. Which is one of the well-connected locations in the city.
• This college offers Undergraduate Engineering Diploma courses in 7 fields, each of a total 3-year duration.
• The college has a total of 7 branches including Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Textile Technology & Hotel Management (HMCT).
• This college also has an official website, which has an online attendance management system for the convenience of college staff & students.

First-Year Experience:

• In my first days, I mainly learned the basics of Computer Science, more specifically I learned about basic Electronics, Digital Techniques (Digital Logic Design), C language, etc.
• At the end of my first year, I started exploring the field of Web Development, I then learned HTML & CSS for creating the basic front and back then.

Second-Year Experience:

• The second year of this course duration was the most interesting & challenging time for me. I have learned about Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Operating Systems, Data Management Systems, and Frontend & Backend Development.
• This was the year when I started coding seriously. And then I found coding interesting.

Final Year Experience:

• This is my final year going on. I will be completing my Diploma in July 2024 (Expected).
• During my final year, I learned about the Software Development Life Cycle, and Object Oriented Programming using C++ & Java.
• I then cracked 4 paid internships (off-campus) but was not able to join due to my other work such as my Final Year Major Project, etc.

So, according to my experience, the college is great with well-equipped labs (CSE/IT Departments), along with very good & experienced faculties.

Overall, the college is great with amazing faculties with very good knowledge & experience.
