Fanuc India Interview Experience for GET

This experience was from Campus Placements for entry-level Trainee.

• First, we gave an aptitude test for 45 minutes, including all questions from Mental ability, Maths, and Basic Engineering Concepts.
• I was selected for that, and after that, we had a GD, the topic was Electric Vehicles. GD was monitored by staff from Pune and Bangalore.
• Two weeks later we had the first Interview, I was told to wear a formal, it was an online interview from MS Teams, and it was a basic one:
  • I was asked about the brief introduction.
  • Family background.
  • Technicals of father’s business.
  • About work experience in Resume.
  • About the projects I completed.
  • Did I have any problem with relocation?
  • Type of work I should expect.

The same day afternoon, another interview was scheduled, a Technical interview I suppose, with a different staff:

• Again quick brief introduction.
• Microcontroller vs Microprocessor?
• The output of XNOR gate?
• Definition of Robotics and My understanding.
• Is a CNC machine a ROBOT?
• Describe Fanuc’s Robodrill.
• Precision vs accuracy?
• Types of Gears
• Types of Bearings
• My Understanding of PLC Programming
• Describe my experience with Microcontroller programming.
• We are first manufacturing equipment company than a Robot company.
• My work expectations from Fanuc.

 Finally, I suggest you prepare the basic concepts in Automation and machining if you are applying for Entry level Graduate Engineer Trainee position. And memorize proper answers for standard questions like “Brief intro of yourself” because the first impression is essential.
