Job Role: Consultant
Job Location: PAN India

Round 1(Online test):
Basically, it is an aptitude + coding round held on 22-10-2022, given the timeslot of 1 PM – 7 PM in between we can attend the test anytime.

Aptitude:
It contains questions based on Logical ability & English.
Logical ability questions are medium & English section was easy.

Coding round:
The coding round was held just after the aptitude round. It contains two coding questions both are easy-level Geeks For Geeks questions.
1 Hour gave to solving both questions.
Questions:

  • Based on the hashing concept.
  •  Based on the greedy algorithm.

Round 2(Online verbal communication efficiency test):
After clearing the aptitude test I got a mail from one of their vendor partner SHL(Aspiring Minds) on 16-11-2022 for above test.This
the test is basically to get assessed English written/verbal communication.
There are the following sections in this round:

  •  Complete the sentence with an appropriate word.
  •  Complete the sentence with the appropriate grammatical words.
  •  Read the given paragraph.
  • They give a topic on which we have to speak for 4 minutes.

Almost everyone can complete this round who knows even basic English.

Round 3(Virtual Technical + HR interview):
After the previous round, I got an interview invite on 28-11-2022. after introducing myself interviewer started asking questions one by one by referring to the technical skills mentioned on my resume.

I mentioned Java in my resume so he started asking questions about it like:

  • Why Java is platform-independent.
  • Why did you choose Java & not other languages?
  • Told me to write code to create an object.

Then he moved on to basic DSA & OOPS questions:

  • Tell me the difference between arrays & ArrayList.
  • What are binary search trees.
  • What are constructors?
  • .Mention any two characteristics of an abstract class.
  • Difference between overriding & overloading.

After that, he moved to the project section as I made a project using Reactjs & REST API giving a brief intro about the project.

Then he asked questions related to the project:

  • Why you used the ReactJS framework only & not Angular?
  • What different hooks you used & tell me each significance.
  • Are you aware of redux ( Which I am not much aware of ….I said “I am not aware of it”) 

Then he asked some DB & OS-related questions.

  •  What are the different types of joints?
  •  Give me a problem & told me to write an SQL query on it( I actually don’t remember that problem but it was a basic one).
  • Do you know what are deadlocks?

In the end, asked some managerial questions :

  • Why you are joining IT as I can see you are from an ECE background.
  • Why do you think you are a good fit for this role?
  •  Are you comfortable with relocation?

Overall this round lasts for 1 hour.
Then got the final selection mail after 10 days.

All the best ….be confident & honest during the interview if you don’t know some answers then simply tell 
then I don’t know that I will go through it!!
