This is for students or candidates appearing for Freshers Drive. The selection process had 3 rounds in total-

  • Aptitude
  • Technical interview
  • HR/Manager interview.

The most impactful and eliminative rounds were the first 2 rounds. So the first round fully depends on your logic, maths, and a bit of luck. If you clear the first round, you will be in the most dangerous round, the technical round. This main interview(2nd round) was for 1 hour. I was a bit nervous on the day of the interview. But the interview was fantastic. This was the first time for which I had driven the interview or can say influenced it. Before this, I had attended 15 to 20 interviews but the experience of this one was the best. From this interview, I can confidently claim that the first 5 to 10 mins are crucial in this game. It gives your first expression and impression of the interviewer as well as where the interview will go. So mark my words.

  • Let me help you with pro tips first before attempting the second round.
  • Firstly your expressions should give vibes of full excitement & confidence to the interviewer.
  • And secondly, you should try to convince the interviewer that you are eager and excited to start your career with the DS.
  • And prove or try to convince that you are a team player and will like to work with the team.
  • And try to keep your English speech as soothing as possible. Your introduction is the main key component of this round.
  • The introduction should contain not only your school, junior college, graduation college & skills but also your final year project description with enthusiasm(as you are very excited about this or new technology) and with a short explanation of its uses, and future scope & users.
  • If the interviewer asks for a description then explain but it must contain challenges you faced and how did you solve them at last please thank your team members as well as guide/mentor with names. It gives a good impression of your attitude.
  • Please don’t break your speech & try to be in the loop it gives the impact of confidence on the interviewer. These are the best tips I can give you to start the interview/second round.

Interview/second round questions are as follows:

  • How are you?
  • Please introduce yourself. (I had emphasized my final year project in the introduction at last)
  • Can you explain your final year project? (I explained this project with full confidence and gave a fully elaborative explanation for at least 5 min non-stop or without breaking the loop.)
  • *From here the interviewer was fully impressed. So he didn’t go to theory or practical hands-on of my skills.
  • #Ask random questions related to new technology as well as how will I solve the random and real-life problems that occur in software.
  • Do you have any questions for me? – *I had asked many questions related to technology as well as presented my pre-home work of DS before the interviewer.

Last was the HR/Manager round. It was the most straightforward round. There were basic questions about my family background and education. And asked, “How confident you are in C/C++/Java/Python in percentage?”. And ended with touches of humor talk.

Three to four weeks after the first round the second and third rounds are taken. The last two rounds were on the same day.
