Nomination Criteria:

  • Announcement Date: October 6, 2023
  • Examination Mode: Offline

Cimpress recently conducted its on-campus recruitment process, seeking bright talents for the tech world. Here’s a concise overview:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: B.Tech students specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence from the Batch of 2024.
  • Academic Requirement: A minimum CGPA of 6.5 or above during undergraduate studies.
  • Backlog-Free: Candidates should have a clean academic record with zero backlogs.

Selected candidates are set to join Cimpress after the completion of their 8th semester.

(ROUND – 1) Coding Evaluation (October 20, 2023):

Participation involved a sizable cohort, ranging from 200 to 230 students.

The evaluative session comprised a trio of questions, encompassing two of elementary difficulty and one of intermediate complexity. The stipulated duration for this task was set at 1 hour and 15 minutes. The assessment transpired on the HackerEarth platform, delving into domains such as loops, 2D arrays, and stacks.

The posed queries mirrored the style often encountered in LEETCODE, maintaining a balance between simplicity and moderate intricacy, focusing on the implementation of fundamental programming constructs like loops, 2D arrays, and stacks.

(ROUND – 2) First Face to Face Interview (21st October 2023):

Duration: 2-2.5 hours.

  • Grilled with over 10 coding questions on trees, recursions, and sorting algorithms.
  • Emphasis on coding, dry runs, and explanations of time complexity.
  • Dived into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, interfaces, inheritance, overloading, and overriding.

(ROUND – 3) Second Face-to-Face Interview (21st October 2023):

Lasted about 1 hour.

  • Focused on my resume, projects, tech stack, and deep dives into MYSQL, DBMS, OOP, and development.
  • Questions on traversing LinkedList and finding a middle element in a single LinkedList.

(ROUND – 4) HR Round:

Lasted 20-25 minutes.

  • Answered behavioral questions and explained my motivations for joining Cimpress.
  • Discussed strengths, skills, and their real-life uses and examples.

Two days later, the results were out, and I was selected along with 6 other students.

The interview questions covered a broad spectrum – from data structures, algorithms, and databases to object-oriented programming. It was a challenging yet enriching experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.

Hope this provides some insights for your upcoming interviews!

Cheers!
