In state legislative assembly 2023, BJP won 163 seats out of 230 seats and Mohan Yadav selected as the cm of MP. Dr Mohan Yadav was born on 25 March 1956 in Ujjain. He started taking interest from his college days.

In 2013, He won as an MLA from Ujjain South constituency. Again in 2018 MP Legislative Assembly election, he reatined his seat from Ujjain South constituency.
