Amity University Admission Experience For MCA Program

When I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) at Amity University, I was excited about the opportunities it would bring. I looked forward to learning from experienced teachers and experiencing new cultures. However, my admission journey didn’t start smoothly.

Even though I had completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications from a good university, my application was initially rejected. They said I didn’t have enough related experience for the MCA program. I was confused and disappointed, but I didn’t give up. I called the admissions office and explained my situation. After just an hour, they changed their decision and accepted my application. I was relieved to receive the offer letter from Amity University.

Degrees Offered

On my first day, I was a bit nervous. I only knew the date when classes were starting but didn’t have details about my schedule. I was told to bring my documents for verification and complete some online paperwork. Then, they said I would get my schedule online. They will take forever to do this and tell you they have done it. You can complete your APW Online. I had to travel for 2 hours to reach the college and they did this to me. I was devastated.

Description of My Course

The MCA program at Amity University lasts for two years, divided into four semesters. It teaches you the basics of programming and how to build applications. After completing the program, you can find good jobs in both private companies and government offices. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon offer high-paying jobs to MCA graduates.

Interview Process

Back in 2022, I didn’t have to take an entrance exam for the MCA program. I just had an online interview where I talked about myself and answered some questions. But now, in 2024, they have introduced an entrance exam followed by an interview. Things change, so make sure to check the latest admission requirements before applying to Amity University.
