I was selected at Apisero Inc. on October 14, 2021, after successfully passing through 2 rounds on HackerEarth, followed by 1 HR interview and 1 CEO interview. Clearing these interview rounds becomes easier with a strong foundation in fundamentals. At that time, Apisero was a startup and boasted a fantastic culture, making it an excellent place to begin a career. Various factors determine one’s affinity for the company. Fortunately, I was fortunate to align with the domain or technology that piqued my interest, making my experience smoother compared to some peers who found themselves with domains that weren’t as enjoyable. For those who are career-oriented, advocating for the technology in which you wish to work is crucial in any tech company. The training period is enriching, offering both learning opportunities and enjoyable activities that ease the integration of new employees.

As a fresher, I had the chance to deeply immerse myself in understanding the domain. I initially delved into Mulesoft as my primary domain. Over the past few months, I’ve honed my problem-solving skills. Presently, I hold dual roles as a DevOps Engineer and Salesforce Developer.

My key responsibilities encompass:

  • Collaborating with Metronet stakeholders to comprehend desired modifications, such as API call attempts/failures or response time metrics, for implementation within their Dynatrace dashboards.
  • Providing extensive troubleshooting support to resolve various issues and problems arising within Dynatrace.
  • Establishing an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline for building, pushing, and deploying Docker images to Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR).

In the first 20 months following my placement, I achieved:

  • Securing the title of the top contributor for publishing the maximum number of blogs in the DevOps domain during the quarter.
  • Publishing over 8 blogs to date.
  • Receiving recognition from seniors, including my manager, through more than 8 awards.
  •  Attaining 4 high-level certificates, including Mulesoft Level 1, Microsoft AZ900, AZ104, and DP203.
