Amazon Interview Experience

Status: 2023 Grad From Indian Institute Of Information Technology, Pune
Position: SDE Intern
Location: Hyderabad

Round 1: Online Assessment
Everyone had a different set of coding questions(2 coding ques) and had varying difficulties. The time duration was 90 mins. My Coding question was similar to the below-mentioned question:

• Q1 Implementation coding question (just need to figure out edge cases efficiently).
• Q2 One DP question

Also, along with the coding question we had one behavioral round in which we need to answer situation-based questions wrt to Amazon principles.

Round 2: Technical Round
I was asked about my previous experience (if any).
Apart from this, I was also asked to discuss my major project and the tech stack that I used in that project.
Two coding questions were as follows:

• Q1 Mixture of linked list & heap. (On the difficult side).
• Q2 DP problem(a slight variation of minimum stairs problem)(easy-medium side).

Verdict: I got selected
