Aethereus Consulting Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023

Aethereus is a known brand and Aethereus Consulting is the IT arm of the same. It was an on-campus opportunity. My interview experience was really good and I got selected too. This exam was conducted in three rounds. and the overall recruitment was completed within 8 days.

First Round: Aptitude Test

The company conducted online tests including questions about logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability. The total number of questions was 35 in 30 minutes. The overall difficulty level of this round is easy. Out of 412 students, 298 students were selected for the second round.

Second Round: Coding Round

There were two coding questions asked in this round.

1. Print the given matrix in spiral order
2. I forgot the question. It is related to file handling

Those who had passed all test cases of the first question and partial test cases of the second question were selected for the interview round. A total of 102 students were shortlisted from this round.

Third Round: Technical + HR Interview

The technical Interview round was a bit moderate. Questions based on Java and object-oriented programming were asked like Singlestone class in Java, multithreading in Java, and OOP’s concepts. The interviewer also asked me a MySQL query and coding question on string palindrome by recursion. They also asked me about the projects that I have mentioned in my resume. Lastly, he asked me to explain my favorite novel as I had mentioned ‘problem-solving’ as a hobby on my resume. the interview rounds took approximately 40 minutes. After three days of this process, the results were announced and I got selected.
