Accenture recently conducted a successful on-campus placement drive at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, resulting in the recruitment of approximately 120 candidates. The drive spanned two days in three shifts and comprised three rounds.

Accenture hired candidates for roles including Assistant Software Engineer and Advanced Assistant Software Engineer.

Written Test:

The first stage of the process involved a written examination, which included sections on Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. The difficulty level of the questions varied across batches, ranging from easy to medium to challenging. Following the completion of this test, candidates who qualified proceeded to the coding round.

Personally, I found the written test to be challenging, but I successfully cleared it and proceeded to the coding round.

Coding Round:

In this segment, candidates were required to demonstrate their coding skills by solving two questions of varying difficulty levels. Fortunately, the coding questions presented to my batch were manageable, and I was able to solve them successfully, thus advancing to the next stage of the selection process.

Communication Test:

This round assessed candidates’ communication skills, encompassing speaking, reading, and listening abilities. Participants were tasked with reading a paragraph, delivering a short impromptu speech based on a given prompt, and answering questions based on an audio sample. It was imperative to listen attentively during the audio segment, as candidates were allowed to hear the sample only once. Additionally, the use of a good-quality microphone was recommended to ensure clear communication. Following this round, candidates awaited the announcement of interview schedules.

Interview:

The final stage of the selection process involved a relatively straightforward interview, where candidates were asked basic HR questions and about their projects. Notably, all interviewers posed the same set of questions to each candidate, ensuring fairness and consistency throughout the process.

After a comprehensive evaluation period, the final results were announced approximately a month later. I am thrilled to share that I, along with 119 other students from my batch, secured placement offers from Accenture.

It is worth noting that throughout the entire selection process, Accenture utilized its proprietary software, which was installed on the laptops of participating students, streamlining the assessment process and ensuring efficiency.

6 students were selected for the AASE role and others for the ASE role.

Overall, the placement drive conducted by Accenture at Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology was a resounding success, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their skills and secure promising career prospects.
