Zeal College of Engineering and Research Campus Experience For B.E in Computer Science

I have completed my graduation from Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Pune pursued a B.E in Computer Science Engineering. Overall, the college experience was filled with ups and downs at various stages because of the pandemic. I did not get to attend college for a huge part of the curriculum but the few days I spent there were filled with new experiences and learnings at every step.

About the campus:

The campus was divided into wings representing various disciplines and branches. It has a sports ground which is very large, a central and department library, a campus canteen and a placement cell but doesn’t have modern classrooms, modern technologies to showcase PPTs and all.

First-Year and Second-Year experience :

My first year of college was nearly online just I went to college for only one week and then COVID came. But still, I enjoyed my first year as I got new friends online.

And talking about the second year it was partially online and then in the last sem of the second year, the colleges got started and I started going to college regularly. It was a tough time for me because as an introvert it’s hard to meet new people although you knew everyone socially meeting personally and interacting are different things. Then it was the first time when we gave an offline exam which was hard for everyone to adapt to but somehow I did well.

Third-Year experience:

Now it was time for the third year where I met new people like teachers who were so friendly and interacted with colleagues and seniors. During this period, I enjoyed my college life with my hostel friends, we did some trips, and we participated in sports and all. This was an internship period, so did an internship through college only. And it was the first time I got an over 9 and I was very happy about it.

Final Year Experience:

It was the last year of engineering and also it was placement time for all the students to prepare for placements and enroll in the training programs. The last semester was spent mostly in placement preparations and students were exempt from classes to attend the training and internship programs. I was very happy as I got placed in the final semester and ended my college on a high note.
