Yamaha Motor Solutions Interview Experience for Software Engineer

August 2023 Campus Drive in J.C. BOSE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, YMCA, FARIDABAD.

ROUND 1 (Online MCQ Test):

Online MCQ test divided into 2 sections. (Aptitude + Technical), held in college labs.

The aptitude section had quantitative and verbal reasoning questions.

The technical section had C++, JAVA fundamentals, OOPS, DBMS, CN, Data structures questions.

Out of around 290 students, 68 were shortlisted for the next rounds.

ROUND 2 (Psychometric Test):

A psychometric test consisting of personality evaluation questions. It was a non-elimination round.

ROUND 3 (HR Interview):

HR Questions like introduction, hobbies, goals, strengths, and motivation were asked.

Puzzle : you have a 100 rupee note you have to provide 10 change for 100 rupee and you can not use 10 rupee Note or coin either.

Out of 68 students, 33 were shortlisted for Technical Round, for an Offline one to one interview.

ROUND 4 (Technical Interview):

Began with an introduction and then asked me to score myself in technologies I mentioned in my resume.

OOPS questions: what is polymorphism, write a pseudo code for both type of polymorphism.

Check if the given string is pallindrome or not.

Concat two strings without using any inbuilt function or the + operator.

Quick sort.

DBMS: What is clustering, types of DBMS, what is NoSQL, out of CRUD which gets into deadlock very more.

SQL Query for read operation without acquiring lock

Out of 33 students,22 were shortlisted.

ROUND 5 (CTO Round):

One meeting with the CTO of Yamaha motors solutions.

Questions regarding education, family background, interests, and hobbies.

Asked me explain my Projects, what is Node.js , what is required to run Javascript code.

CTO will try to assess your personality based on the way you answer your questions.

Finally, out of 22 students, 13 were selected

Bond: 2Yrs

Verdict– Accepted
