TCS Digital Interview Experience

Round 1 : (MCQ and 2 Coding questions) – No negative marking and all sections are mandatory. A particular time for each section is mentioned once that time is complete then only we can move to the next area. Results announced on Sept 13, 2022 – got shortlisted for digital interview.

Round 2 : (Interview round) – 2 weeks after the announced result I have my interview I received a mail just a day before my interview at 9 pm. So prepare earlier and don’t wait for the mail about the interview schedule.

There are 3 people in the interview panel – technical interview, managerial round, and HR all 3 taken in a single meeting.

Technical Interview:

• Tell me about yourself.
• Fav programming language – I said Python.
• pep8 means.
• Scope in Python – local scope, Global scope, module-level scope, outermost scope.
• He asked me to rate myself on my programming skills.
• Asked me to explain my projects which are related to Python.
• Dbms, SQL means.
• SQL server languages.

Managerial Round: [Technical interviewer joined the meeting quite late so the managerial person asked me some technical questions]

• What u know about SDLC?
• Agile Methodology.
• Tags in Html?
• Selectors in CSS
• What is moonlight?
• What are the different Modern technologies you know?
• Are these upcoming technologies boon or bane?
• Work from home and work from the office which one do you prefer?

HR Round:

• Are you ok with any location?
• Are you ok with shifts?

That’s it it almost took an hour from 10 am to 11 am.

The interview was very good, the interview panel people are very friendly just prepare well for your resume and be confident in your answers, Tell what you know and be honest.
