The Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship is offered to students by the foundation. It is one of the most well-known scholarships in India for various degree courses. For many students, higher education may be an expensive effort. Thus, to ensure that financial constraints do not prohibit students from completing further education and accomplishing their goals, the Sitaram Jindal Scholarship supports students from Class 11 till post-graduation.
Status of the Scholarship
It is a merit-based scholarship scheme. Scholarships will be awarded to candidates depending on the scholarship categories for which they are eligible. Candidates asking about the Jindal Scholarship 2023 last day should know that the scholarship program is open throughout the year.

Scholarships Types, Eligibility Criteria, and Online Application Status
For 11th and 12th Students
|
- Candidates must be in Class 11 or Class 12.
- Female candidates must have achieved at least 55% in the previous exam.
- Male candidates must be at least 60%.
- For Karnataka students: Male candidates must have at least 70%.
- Female candidates must have achieved at least 65%.
- For West Bengal students: Girls must have 60% while boys must have 65%.
- The scholarship will be terminated once the student reaches the age of 30.

1. B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BFA, BCA, BBA, BBM, Bachelor of Business Economics/Finance, B.Sc. (Ag.), BVSC Integrated course of 5 years (first 3 years will be treated as graduation course)
2. In the field of Environment: Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer and Environment Journalist.
3. In the fields of Hospitality, Micro Biology, Forensic Sciences, and Social Work.

- Female candidates must have achieved at least 50% in the previous exam, while male candidates must have achieved at least 55%.
- For Karnataka students: Male candidates must have at least 70%, while female candidates must have at least 65%.
- For West Bengal students: The minimum required percentage for girls is 60% and 65% for boys.
- The scholarship will be terminated once the student reaches the age of 30.

1. M.A., M.Phil, M.Com, M.Lib (Science), MBA, Master of Business Economics/Finance/ Human Resources Management/ International Business/ M.Sc. / MVSc, M.Sc. (Agriculture), MCA, Organic Agriculture, Solar Energy, Rural/Urban Management, Integrated course for 5 years (remaining 2 years amount for post-graduation basis).
2. In the field of Environment: Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer and Environment Journalist.

For all the categories, the annual income of the family should not exceed INR 4 lakh for people in employment and other students’ household income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per year.
Documents Required for the Scholarship
Students must attach important documents in support of their application while applying for a scholarship through the application form. Before beginning the application process, you should scan copies of all the supporting documents.
Here below is the list of documents required for the scholarship :
- SSLC/HSC Marksheet.
- Last examination result sheet.
- Family Income certificate as per the category.
- Merit certificate applicable for Medical, Engineering, Diploma, and MBA students.
- Certificates regarding fees paid which are applicable for Medical, Engineering, Diploma, and MBA students.
- Hostellers are required to submit the Certificate from the hostel warden.
- If applicable submit the Certificate of physical disability from the competent authority.
